tree and nature

When I was young, I used to climb trees a lot (I still sometimes do this). What I would do, I would walk at the lakeside and I knew a specific fir tree that was very good to climb. Very often I went to the lakeside and climbed it and watched over the lake.

When I was sitting on the top of this fir tree, it seemed much more natural way of meditation than normal (on the ground cross-legged etc). Climbing and sitting on the top of the tree somehow felt much more easy, natural, smooth, normal to me.

Trees have a way of communicating and mostly it so easy and natural that you wouldn't think of it as communication. They simply want you to climb on them. It is so easy and immediate, direct communication. You don't have to "talk" to them or send thoughts etc, you simply climb them and be with them and sit on their branches.

It is so natural and smooth that any child can do it.

I also remember one time when I talk with friend about how to communicate with plants. We were lying down in the forest after a small hike on the ground, and I tell him that it is much more direct that he would think. You simply "are" together with the forest, and I picked some forest grass and bite it.

One time I remember when I was climbing another fir tree at my friend's place, and then like parents came after me, another family, and they see me as a child on this tree, shouting to them in joy. I was alone at my friend's place at that time so this is the way how they met me that time, me being in this fir tree, few meters from the ground.

I really used to climb trees a lot and fir trees are the best for it, they are so smooth and easy to climb and protecting you with a strong fatherly power. They are holding you when you go there and protect you and give so much good feeling.

When there was a very strong wind, in my childhood, we used to climb on top of fir trees and move together with the storm as the tree was moving. Sometimes it got very shaky, the tree was moving a lot in the storm, and me together with it, almost touching the tops of other trees.
